OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE LABORATORY

Specialists from the INKOM SPB Occupational Hygiene Laboratory perform laboratory and instrumental measurements and conduct sanitary and hygienic studies of workplace environmental and work-process factors. These services support workplace assessment against working-condition criteria, substantiate employee benefits and compensation, and identify harmful and hazardous chemicals in workplace air.

Based on the test results and measurement reports, we prepare a hygienic assessment of working conditions covering the microclimate, noise and infrasound levels, vibration, lighting, electromagnetic fields, and the physical demands and intensity of the work process.

During workplace assessment, our occupational hygiene laboratory specialists perform the following activities:

advice on preparing orders to conduct workplace assessments;
assistance in identifying the workplaces to be assessed and the harmful production factors to be measured;
sanitary and hygienic studies and laboratory and instrumental measurements, using modern equipment, of workplace environmental factors and the physical demands and intensity of work at the workplaces under assessment;
preparation of draft working-condition assessment cards and work-time observation records for the assessed workplaces;
calculation of additional pay and additional leave entitlements for work under harmful conditions;
identification and preparation of lists of employees who are denied or recommended for preferential pension provision under Lists No. 1 and No. 2 based on workplace assessment results;
client support and advice at every stage of the work.
