EXPERT EXAMINATION (TECHNICAL DIAGNOSTICS)
This is a set of activities required to determine the technical condition of equipment, the conditions and period of its further safe operation with due regard to its operating mode, and the need for repair, upgrading, reconstruction or decommissioning
Our company performs expert examinations (technical diagnostics) of the following high-risk machinery, mechanisms and equipment:
- equipment associated with the production, manufacture, use, processing, storage, transportation, application, disposal or neutralisation of flammable, explosive and hazardous substances in Hazard Classes 1 and 2 where the mass is equal to or exceeds the threshold quantities established by Resolution No. 956 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 11 July 2002, On the Identification and Declaration of the Safety of High-Risk Facilities;
- process equipment for trunk gas pipelines, oil pipelines and product pipelines (petroleum-product, ammonia and ethylene pipelines), industrial and inter-industrial oil and gas gathering systems, and oil and gas production facilities;
- pressure equipment specified in the Technical Regulation on Pressure Equipment and in paragraph 2 of the Technical Regulation on Simple Pressure Vessels;
- boilers using high-temperature organic heat-transfer fluids with a rated heat output exceeding 0.1 MW;
- lifting cranes and machinery, lifts, platforms for lifting workers, passenger cableways, funiculars, escalators and passenger conveyors, and powered suspended platforms for lifting workers;
- equipment with a voltage above 1,000 V (item 8 of Group A of the List of High-Risk Machinery, Mechanisms and Equipment);
- high-risk amusement devices, whether fixed, relocatable or mobile;
- equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and listed in Annex 1 to the applicable Technical Regulation;
- all types of machinery and equipment listed in subparagraphs 1 and 2 of paragraph 2 of the Technical Regulation on Machinery Safety;
- forging and pressing equipment;
- vehicle lifts;
- natural-gas and liquefied-gas supply systems used by business entities, and gas-using equipment with a capacity above 0.1 MW;
- heavy-duty and other process vehicles defined in subparagraph 1 of paragraph 2 of the Procedure for Departmental Registration and Record-Keeping of Heavy-Duty and Other Process Vehicles;
- equipment associated with the production, manufacture, use, processing, storage, transportation, application, disposal or neutralisation of flammable, explosive and hazardous substances in Hazard Classes 1 and 2 where the mass exceeds one per cent of the Class 2 threshold quantity for high-risk facilities but remains below the applicable limit;
- other machinery, mechanisms and equipment not included in Group A for which the manufacturer requires technical inspection, testing and/or expert examination (technical diagnostics);
- transportable pressure equipment specified in subparagraph 18 of paragraph 5 of the Technical Regulation on Transportable Pressure Equipment.
We also perform non-destructive testing of base materials and welded joints – visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) – as well as destructive testing (hardness measurement) of high-risk equipment
